Minnesota Lynx Saint Paul Sport reviews
Rivals in the West
With the lynx vs. the sparks you can expect nothing but amazing basketball. When you get the legendary players of los angeles and rising stars of minnesota under the same roof you can expect to experience nothing less. In this match up the sparks may have been missing a key player in candace parker but in the past year they have gained even more. Watching this game unfold I was in awe of LA's Betty Lennox. With her athletic ability and 'pit bull' mentality. But enough of LA this game was the lynx. Watching them over the past years I have to say I think this year I'm watching the champs. In this game they were well rounded. As a team they have taken giant strides and under the leadership of coach Jen Gillom they are discovering that if each player, plays a part then they will find success.
Loaded With Talent!
The current Minnesota Lynx team is loaded with talent at all positions as well they should be given their draft status the past 3 years. They have the "Best" point guard in all of basketball in Lindsay Whalen-a coach on the floor. Her ability to find the the best person to score in any given situation is a natural ability that very few players possess. With Maya and Seimone as shooting wings and the tremendous overall ability of both Rebecca and Taj in the paint, this IS ONE GOOD BASKETBALL TEAM. On paper, they are without equal. Ttheir bench too is very strong with Candice Wiggins, Monica Wright, and Amber Harris filling in very admirably. All 3 of them would be starters on most teams in the WNBA. This team will only get better game by game. I couldn't be more excited about this or any basketball team for that matter. GO LYNX!!!
FABULOUS
I've watched girls and Women's basketball for over 35 yrs. I know whats good.
That baseline drive by Moore was as GREAT AS IT GETS MALE OR FEMALE IN ANY ERA!!
That is a very good TEAM the Lynx beat, as have been the past 2 teams in the playoffs.
They all are shooting amazingly well against the Lynx yet the Lynx still win. Goes to show the character of the players and the coaches on that team. Something that has LACKED SERIOUSLY IN THIS TOWN since 87 and 91.
There was a span early where the Lynx couldn't buy a basket and trailed by 12 or 13. They appeared to have run out of gas as the teams they have beaten and on this night were shooting the lights out. Those teams were playing almost flawless. Yet the Lynx stayed close, recovered, and in the end they were the team playing flawless.
GREAT GAME!!
HATS OFF TO ALL!!.
Will obviously be at the next game!
